Just Let Your Soulier Glow

Fabrice Soulier
Fabrice Soulier

This tournament is in serious danger of becoming much less easy on the eye for any female spectators - Fabrice Soulier is down to his last 2,400 with only one 4k lammer behind.

He raised to 350 under the gun and received two calls, one from Jussi Nevanlinna behind and one from John Racener in the big blind. They saw a {2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop and it checked around to Nevanlinna, who bet 600. Racener folded but Soulier raised; the two agreed to get all the chips in (Nevanlinna didn't have many) and they turned the cards over.

Soulier: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Spades} for a variety of straight draws
Nevanlinna: {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for top two pair

Turn: {6-Hearts}

River: {3-Hearts}

The two pair stayed ahead, and the ladies may soon have to look for eye candy elsewhere.
