Rachid El Yaacoubi opened to 125,000 from the button. Ermanno Di Nicola called in the big blind.

"Do you defend 100%" asked El Yaacoubi.

"Yes." Di Nicola replied.

"Ok thank you my friend" said El Yaacoubi.

Di Nicola checked the 3105 flop before El Yaacoubi bet 200,000. Di Nicola then put in the check-raise to 550,000. El Yaacoubi then clicked it to 1,300,000. Undeterred, Di Nicola five-bet shoved all in and had El Yaacoubi covered.

He went into the tank for around four minutes pondering the biggest call of his tournament so far. Ultimately, he put the chips across the line.

El Yaacoubi was ahead but not for long as the 6 turn left him drawing dead. The 2 river added insult to injury. He tapped the table and wished his now former opponents good luck before departing the tournament area.

Traian Stanciu

The action folded around to Ermanno Di Nicola in the small blind, who opted to limp. But Traian Stanciu in the big blind wasn’t about to let it go so easily—he raised the stakes to 100,000. Di Nicola wasn’t backing down, though, and answered with a three-bet to 335,000. Sensing his moment, Stanciu took a gamble and shoved all-in, only to be met with an instant call from Di Nicola.

Earlier in the tournament, Stanciu had pulled off some near-miraculous hands by hitting sets on the board, but this time, his luck had run dry. The board ran out 98797, giving both players two pair, but Di Nicola’s queens held strong, sending Stanciu to the rail as Di Nicola claimed another pot.

Ermanno Di Nicola opened the action from under the gun, raising to 110,000. The hand seemed like just another round—until Amiel Gamliel, sitting in the big blind, decided to push back in a big way, shoving all-in.

Without hesitation, Di Nicola snap-called and confidently flipped over AQ. Gamliel, realizing his timing was off, shook his head and muttered, "Ah, wrong time," as he revealed his A8.

The flop came down with a queen right on top, showing Q29, giving Di Nicola a commanding lead. The K on the turn and the J on the river sealed the deal, offering Gamliel no help as his tournament life came to an end. Di Nicola scooped the pot as Gamliel headed to the rail.

Vincent Meli
Vincent Meli

Vincent Meli kicked off the action, raising to 100,000 from early position. Sitting on the button, Dohang Na wasn’t about to let that go unchallenged; he made a bold three-bet to 275,000. Meli took a moment to consider his options before deciding to go all-in, pushing his entire stack into the middle. Na, not missing a beat, quickly snap-called, clearly confident in his hand.

As the cards were revealed, the tension mounted. Meli showed A3, a hand that held some promise, but Na revealed AK, showcasing his dominant ace-king.

With the board laid out as 29AA5, the board painted a dramatic picture. Na’s flush emerged, sealing Meli’s fate and sending him to the rail as Na scooped up the pot.
