Shabani Left With Crumbs

Mousa Awad raised to 500,000 under the gun and Michal Schuh called in the hijack. Genc Shabani then jammed all in for roughly 3,000,000 on the button.

The blinds quickly folded before Awad called all-in 2,925,000. Schuh got out of the way and the cards were tabled.

Awad didn't like what he saw but gathered some hope on the 356 flop as he paired his five to take the lead. However, Awad was already half-way to the payout desk when the K dropped on the turn, as Shabani regained his advantage. The rollercoaster runout continued on the river as Awad improved to trips with the 5, which kept him alive.
