Sabic Makes Quads to Double Up and Even Things Out
Level 28
: Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Alen Sabic raised to 300,000 as first to act. The action then folded to Hokyiu Lee in the big blind, who three-bet to 1,150,000.
Sabic tossed in his stack of 1,605,000 and Lee made the call to put his opponent at risk.
Alen Sabic: A♦K♠K♦6♠
Hokyiu Lee: A♥K♥Q♣10♣
Sabic remained ahead on the 6♣3♣10♠ flop, but with a pair and a flush draw, Lee had a plethora of outs.
The 6♦ gave his opponent trips, however, and the 6♥ river made Sabic four of a kind to double up.
Lee lost the chiplead for the first time since the final table had started as play continued with four relatively even stacks and the short-stacked Thomas Hueber.
