The 4♠ turn was then checked through and so was the 9♦ river. Campisano tabled A♥K♣, but was narrowly outdone by Marechal, who had A♠2♣ for bottom pair.

The action checked to Marechal on the 8♥5♠Q♦ flop. He bet 2,500,000 with top pair, being called by Anastasakis and seeing Campisano fold. Marechal sized up to 3,500,000 on the 3♥ turn.
