Rodrigues Spikes the Turn, Karl Smacks the River in Massive Pot

Michael Rodrigues bet 7,000 from early position on a flop of 3♥5♣10♠ and Nicola Karl then raised to 22,000 in the big blind.

Rodrigues called and they saw the 4♠ fall on the turn. Karl bet another 45,000 and Rodrigues tossed in three blue 25,000 chips for a raise, but the dealer forced him to make it at least 90,000. Karl then moved all in and Rodrigues snap-called for 120,000.

Karl showed A♥A♦, but Rodrigues had 4♥4♣ for the turned set. The river, though, brought the A♣ and Karl made a higher set to send Rodrigues, who had been sitting on a big stack nearly the entire day, out to the exit.
