Demasi Runs Into Romme's Aces

Level 22 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Giuseppe Demasi moved all in for 150,000 in the cutoff and Alexander Romme called in the big blind.

Giuseppe Demasi: AQ
Alexander Romme: AA

Romme had woken up with aces, and while Demasi got some hope on the KJ7 flop with a straight draw, he improved no further on the K turn and 7 river as Romme took the pot to send him to the exit.

Level 22 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Aliaksei Chernak was all in and at risk for his last 160,000 and he was called by Otto Lemke.

Lemke had already nabbed one of the top €30,000 bounty prizes and had another opportunity to redeem a token.

However, Chernak's 77 remained ahead of Lemke's AxJx as the board ran out with the 941095.

East Gets a Pot; Shumeiko Surrenders Chips

Level 22 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Hugo Machado opened to 32,000 from under the gun and was called by Jamel Ghizaoui from middle position. Jareth East made it 135,000 from the hijack. Yehor Shumeiko put in 32,000 from the big blind as he did not notice East's raise. As Shumeiko had not verbalised call, he was able to surrender what he put into the middle and that's what he did.

Machado folded to East's raise while Ghizaoui called.

The 985 flop checked through to the 3 turn. Ghizaoui check-folded to a bet of 100,000.

Jacob Amsellem
Jacob Amsellem

Anthony Amsellem raised to 32,000 in the cutoff before Alexandre Viard three-bet to 80,000 on the button. Amsellem then moved all in for 270,000 and Viard called.

Anthony Amsellem: AJ
Alexandre Viard: A10

Amsellem had Viard dominated through the 8482 board, but the river brought the 10 and Amsellem shot back in his seat as Viard made two pair to send him to the rail.

Within a few seconds at another table, his dad Jacob was all in for 237,000 against Ali Shahni.

Jackb Amsellem: AK
Ali Shahni: JJ

The flop came J99 and Shahni filled up on the start-of-day chip leader, who watched as the board ran out 53 before joining his son on the rail.

Alexandridis then bet 160,000 on the J turn, leaving 20,000 behind. Shumeiko tried to raise but accidentally put in a string bet and it was just ruled as a call.

Symeon Alexandridis: AJ
Yehor Shumeiko: AA

Shumeiko slow-played his aces and got max value as well as his opponent's mystery bounty token.
