Kabrhel Doubles Up to Chip Lead
Level 14
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress and Martin Kabrhel had already collected 600,000 chips in the middle when Dvoress checked from the small blind on the board of K♠10♠5♦J♠. Kabrhel then put out a bet of 345,000, which Dvoress called.
The 6♦ river completed the board and Kabrhel now pushed all in after another check from Dvoress, for 780,000 chips. Dvoress went deep into the tank with the covering stack but ultimately came up with a call.
Kabrhel showed 8♠2♠ for a turned flush, and it bested the K♥K♣ of Dvoress, who had flopped top set. Kabrhel shot up to the chip lead in the dying minutes of Day 1, while Dvoress was left with just over a starting stack.
