Maue Stands Up to Rocco

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Michael Rocco raised to 160,000 from early position, as he had done a couple of times on the bubble with great success. Big blind Leonard Maue made the call, and the pair saw a flop of 7J2.

Maue checked and Rocco fired a continuation-bet of 80,000. Maue then responded with a raise to 225,000 and Rocco swiftly folded his hand, marking the first hand the chip leader had lost since the start of hand-for-hand play.

Rocco Takes Out Ketzer

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action folded around to Felipe Ketzer in the small blind, who moved his short stack all in. Michael Rocco asked for a count before making the call.

Felipe Ketzer: K7
Michael Rocco: A2

The flop of 3810 changed nothing, but Ketzer caught a pair on the 7 turn. The 6 river flipped the hand back to Rocco, hitting a flush to eliminate Ketzer.

That brought the field down to the final 16 players, who are on break while the two table redraw is completed.

Martin Kabrhel: KQ
