No danger appeared on the board for Barbero, and he raked in the double-up once the 65946 was fully dealt out.

On another table, Joakim Andersson's 10x10x could not beat the AxKx of Michael Rocco, and he joined the rest of the eliminated players on the rail.

Hagstrom Hits Quads to Triple Up

Level 17 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jonas Hagstrom
Jonas Hagstrom

Jonas Hagstrom open-jammed for 225,000 from early position and Jerry Odeen made the call from the cutoff. Laszlo Bujtas then three-bet to 600,000 from the big blind and Odeen spent some time before calling again.

Bujtas spent one time bank extension on the 469 flop before also going all in for 1,475,000. Odeen asked for a count and called with the covering stack shortly thereafter.

Jonas Hagstrom: 66
Laszlo Bujtas: 1010
Jerry Odeen: 1010

Hagstrom's set had already locked up the pot as all the tens were accounted for. He made quads on the 6 turn for bragging rights, and he was officially awarded the pot on the 3 river. Bujtas and Odeen were both okay with splitting the very large side pot and play continued.

Level 16 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Teun Mulder: JJ
Martin Kabrhel: K3

Bujtas Puts the Pressure on Shylko

Level 16 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

On a completed board of 95J8J, Aliaksandr Shylko checked from the small blind to Laszlo Bujtas in the big blind. Bujtas then jammed all in, covering the 475,000 stack of Shylko.

With around 600,000 in the pot before this, Shylko went deep into the tank. After a few time bank extensions, he opted to fold and grant the pot to Bujtas, who neared the two-million mark after raking in the chips.

One hand later, Axel Hallay departed from this table to bring the field down to four tables remaining.
