Oedeen Shows Chen the Goods

Level 3 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Hen Rosilio opened to 1,800 first-to-act and was called by Aaron Duczak from middle position, James Chen on the button, Hoai Nguyen in the small blind and Jerry Oedeen in the big blind for a five-way pot.

Everyone checked to Chen on the Q28 flop and he bet 5,000. Only Oedeen called.

Both players checked on the Q turn, but Oedeen fired 16,500 into the middle when the 5 completed the board. Chen decided to look him up and Oedeen tabled QJ8x4x for queens-full of eights. Chen sent his hand into the muck and Oedeen collected the pot.

Albeck Flushes Astedt Out

Level 4 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Niklas Astedt
Niklas Astedt

Samuel Albeck and Niklas Astedt were heads-up on a 32Q flop with several thousand already in the middle.

Albeck bet enough to put Astedt all in for around 50,000 from the small blind and Astedt called off the rest of his chips from the big blind.

Niklas Astedt: AKQJ
Samuel Albeck: KQ87

Astedt held the lead, but would need to fade a bevy of outs to double up.

The 10 turn was safe for Astedt, but the A river filled Albeck’s flush draw and Astedt was sent to re-enter.

Both players checked the 1087 flop leading to the K turn. Birkmose check-called an 8,000 bet from Astedt.

Birkmose checked again on the 2 turn and Astedt bet 25,000 which was enough to force a fold from his opponent.

All three players checked on the 8K7 flop and then Bolwerk bet 3,500 on the A turn. Only Rosilio called.

Bolwerk put 7,000 into the middle when the 2 completed the board, which got a fold from Rosilio after a bit of thought.

The J fell on the turn and Persson checked to Lee, who bet 5,000. Persson called.

Alexander Norden opened to 2,000 from the hijack and Ren Lin defended from the big blind.

The flop came A75 and Lin check-called a 4,900 continuation bet from Norden.

Lin check-called another bet from Norden on the 10 turn, this time for 14,700.

On the Q river Lin changed gears, leading out with a bet of 44,100 which sent Norden into the tank.

After approximately three minutes Norden flicked in the call. Lin tabled A443 for top pair turned into a bluff while Norden showed down AK107 for two pair to take down a sizable pot.
