Liu Cracks Aces to Score Massive Double

Level 26 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Wing Po Liu
Wing Po Liu

Gergo Nagy limped in from under the gun and Wing Po Liu raised to 325,000 from the hijack. Nagy responded with a pot-sized raise to 1,125,000 which Liu called.

The flop came 1032 and Nagy moved all in, covering Liu's remaining stack of 1,235,000. Liu considered his options for roughly two minutes before making the call to put himself at risk.

Wing Po Liu: AK109
Gergo Nagy: AAK3

Nagy was ahead with an overpair but the K turn gave Liu the lead with two pair. The 9 river changed nothing for either player and Liu collected a gargantuan double up while Nagy was left with less than ten big blinds.
