Anson Tsang opened to 300,000 from the button and Omar Eljach three-bet to 1,020,000 from the small blind. Tsang four-bet to 3,180,000 and Eljach moved all in for 3,335,000. Tsang made the call to put Eljach at risk for the first time since the start of the final table.

Omar Eljach: KK87
Anson Tsang: AA103

Eljach looked to be in dire shape against Tsang's aces until the flop came K105 giving him top set. Eljach remained ahead on the 6 turn and 7 river to secure a much-needed double up, getting back some of the chips he had lost earlier while leaving Tsang with a very short stack.

Tsang Making a Comeback

Level 28 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Anson Tsang has doubled (and tripled) up in a series of hands in quick succession to bring his stack all the way to 2,700,000 after being on the brink of elimination.

After tripling up with the short stack in a hand against Marco Di Persio and Wing Po Liu, Tsang opened to 560,000 first-to-act and was called by Omar Eljach in the cutoff.

Tsang shoved for his remaining stack on the 728 flop and Eljach called.

Anson Tsang: QJ85
Omar Eljach: KK108

The K turn gave Eljach outs to a full house against Tsang’s flush, but the A river bricked out and Tsang doubled up.

Wing Po Liu
Wing Po Liu

Omar Eljach opened to 400,000 first-to-act and Wing Po Liu announced a pot-sized three-bet to 1,440,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back around to Eljach, who made the call.

Eljach checked to Liu on the Q3A flop and he went all in for 800,000 total. Eljach looked a bit pained, but stuck in a call to put Liu at risk.

Wing Po Liu: AA104
Omar Eljach: KQ88

Eljach was in rough shape against Liu’s set of aces and the 4 turn nor the 9 river changed anything — scoring the double up for Liu.

Marco Di Persio
Marco Di Persio

Marco Di Persio raised pot to 700,000 from under the gun and was called by Wing Po Liu in the big blind.

Liu bet enough to put Di Persio all in for his last 400,000 on the 35J flop and Di Persio folded.

On the very next hand, action folded around to Liu in the small blind and he raised enough to put Di Persio all in for his remaining stack in the big blind. Di Persio called.

Marco Di Persio: KJ86
Wing Po Liu: AJ75

The 869J2 runout left Liu best with a straight and Di Persio was eliminated in fifth place.
