Illia Matus: 88
Jan Turjak: QQ

"Yes!" said Turjak while raising his hands in the air when he won on 226106, eliminating Matus.

Toth Devours Chochola With a Bigger Ace

Level 26 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Roman Chochola moved all in for 500,000 from the hijack and was up against Istvan Toth under the gun.

Roman Chochola: AQ
Istvan Toth: AK

The 338 flop left open the possibility of a chop, but Toth's king-kicker continued to play following the 7 turn and 3 river to bust Chochola from the tournament.

Fausto Tantillo and Rafi Elharar were also recently eliminated.

Saka's Prayer is Answered

Level 26 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Alain Saka was all in for 670,000 from the small blind and was at risk to Henning Wendlandt, who was in the big blind.

Alain Saka: AK
Henning Wendlandt: AQ

It was a blind versus blind cooler and Saka had the best of it until the Q106 flop.

Saka then pleaded for his tournament life and found no help on the 7 turn. However, the J river gave him the checkmark with Broadway and he was mightily relieved to still be in contention for the €200,000 first place prize.

Bussmann Doesn't Want to Look as Becker Busts Ott

Level 26 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Stefan Ott moved all in for 320,000 under the gun, Marvin Becker reshoved for 810,000 next to act, and the table folded around to small blind Daniel Bussmann.

Bussmann tanked for a minute but ultimately gave up his hand, leaving Ott and Becker heads-up.

Stefan Ott: 1010
Marvin Becker: JJ

Bussmann walked away from the table before the cards were exposed. The 10 came in the window and Ott hit a set, but it was followed by J9 as Becker made top set.

The board ran out 24 and Ott was sent to the rail. Only then did Bussmann returned to the table.

"Didn't want to see the flop," a tablemate asked him.

"No. I don't want to know what they had," Bussmann replied.

Refos Reshoves, Zullo Gets Away

Level 26 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Raoul Refos
Raoul Refos

Iurii Kondrat moved all in for 160,000 in early position and Michele Zullo then raised to 550,000 in middle position.

Action folded to Raoul Refos in the cutoff who reshoved for 995,000. The blinds got out of the way, but Zullo tanked for several minutes before mucking.

Iurii Kondrat: AQ
Raoul Refos: AK

The flop was a disaster for Kondrat as the dealer turned over 432, giving Refos the nut flush. The board ran out 3K and Refos sent Kondrat to the rail.

Zullo admitted he also had ace-queen and began playfully punching himself for raising instead of just calling.

Turjak Takes One From Wheeler

Level 26 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Jason Wheeler was in middle position when he raised to 80,000. He was called by Jan Turja in the hijack, and by Raoul Refos in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 1033, and Wheeler continued with a bet of 95,000. Turk called, but Refos check-folded.

On the turn 9, Wheeler eventually checked, so Turjak took this opportunity to bet 205,000. Wheeler knuckled the table and fold.
