Blazek Leaves Martinelli With Crumbs

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Adam Blazek moved all in for 510,000 on the button and Corrado Martinelli called in early position.

Adam Blazek: KQ
Corrado Martinelli: AJ

Martinelli was ahead as the 94J flop gave him a pair. Blazek was looking to improve but missed the 2 turn.

The river, though, brought the K and Blazek spiked a pair of kings. Martinelli slammed the table in frustration and spent several minutes muttering to himself as he watched nearly his entire stack head over to the other side of the table.

Gallo Flops Quads; Bussmann Takes Top Spot

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Candido Cappiello
Candido Cappiello

Gianluca Gallo limped in from under the gun before Candido Cappiello made it 125,000 from middle position. Francesco Pagliazzo called from the button and Gallo also decided to stick around.

On the 101010 flop, action checked to Cappiello, who bet 90,000. Both remaining players called.

Action checked to Cappiello on the 2 turn, and he fired out another 400,000. Pagliazzo folded but Gallo quickly committed his last 190,000.

Fits of laughter erupted as Gallo tabled his J10 for flopped quads, rendering Cappiello's AK useless.

Also at the same table is Daniel Bussman, who has taken the chip lead and has a wide gap between his nearest rival.

Ace-High Good Enough For Mao

Level 25 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Renji Mao raised to 60,000 in early position and Andras Balogh called in middle position.

The flop came 10810 and Mao continued for 65,000. Balogh called to the Q turn, where Mao bet another 180,000.

Balogh again called and the 5 fell on the river. Mao then checked and Balogh quickly checked behind. Mao opened up A4 for a pair of tens, ace-kicker, and that was good enough to win the pot as Balogh mucked.

Shawn Stroke
Shawn Stroke

Shawn Stroke has the chip lead going into the break and he just detailed his hand that put him at the top of the counts.

Stroke opened to 60,000 from middle position and was called by Viacheslav Svyshchov and start-of-day chip leader Xhavit Berisha from the blinds.

On the 97x6 flop, action checked through to the K turn. Action checked to Stroke, who bet 60,000. Svyshchov called before Berisha made it 300,000. Only Stroke called.

On the Jx river, Berisha then moved all in as the big stack and Stroke, with around 550,000 behind, snap-called for his tournament life.

Berisha had a set with 9x9x, but Stroke had the Q10 for the queen-high straight.
