Mandzjuk Takes Out Two With Quads

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Oleg Mandzjuk
Oleg Mandzjuk

Barny Boatman shoved for a bit over 5,000 from middle position and action folded to Oleg Mandzjuk, who three-bet from late position. Karo Nuri quickly went all in just behind him for his remaining stack and Mandzjuk called to put both Boatman and Nuri at risk.

Barny Boatman: A6
Karo Nuri: AK
Oleg Mandzjuk: QQ

The Q89 flop left both Nuri and Boatman drawing nearly dead. The 10 turn and Q river needlessly improved Mandzjuk to quads for the double elimination.

Bogas Doubles Through Lohse

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

On a completed board of J10942 with a large pot already in the middle, Max Lohse shoved from the small blind, which was enough to put Jan Bogas all in for his last 10,000 from early position.

Bogas called and Lohse could only turn over Q7 for a busted straight draw. Bogas held J9 for two pair and doubled up while Lohse was left with just 5,000 in chips.
