Rocco Holds On to Double as Pudel Lays Down Aces

Level 31 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Michael Rocco vs Eric Tsai
Michael Rocco vs Eric Tsai

Nils Pudel raised to 600,000 under the gun and Michael Rocco called in the small blind. Eric Tsai also came along from the big blind.

The flop came K97 and Pudel bet 550,000. Rocco then raised to 1,400,000 and Tsai called. Pudel tanked for a few minutes before folding AA, leaving Rocco and Tsai heads-up to the 2 turn.

Rocco then moved all in for 4,600,000 and Tsai gave it some thought before calling. He showed K3 for a pair and flush draw, while Rocco had 99 for a set of nines.

The 2 fell on the river and Rocco improved to a full house to earn a double up, knocking the start-of-day chip leader down to a short stack.
