Lin Gets One Bet Out Of Adamszki

Level 18 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Tamas Adamszki limped in from the small blind and Ren Lin checked his option from the big blind. The hand then checked through the 4AQK board before the 4 river completed it.

Admaszki then made a minimum bet of 100,000 and Lin looked him up. Adamszki then made a minimum bet of 100,000 chips and Lin looked him up. Adamszki allegedly showed Lin his eight-high before Lin tabled Q6 for two pair and he raked in the pot.

Francisco Benitez
Francisco Benitez

In the cutoff, Francisco Benitez opened to 1,000,000, leaving 60,000 behind. Dvoress put him all in, and Benitez put in his last few chips.

Francisco Benitez: AK
Daniel Dvoress: A5

Benitez was ahead and remained so after the K65 flop, but the 5 turn and 5 river saw Dvoress improve to quads to seal the knockout.

"Wow," gasped Ren Lin. "That's how you win a tournament."

Orpen Kisacikoglu moved all in for 790,000 from the cutoff. Santhosh Suvarna called from the button and the blinds folded.

Orpen Kisacikoglu: AQ
Santhosh Suvarna: 55

Kisacikoglu remained ahead on the 10610 flop and 3 turn but the 6 river counterfeited his hand for Suvarna to seal the pot and knockout.

Kabrhel threw out a little needle to Kisacikoglu as the latter left the table.

"I have never seen anything like it," said Kabrhel. "It really wasn't his day," he added.

Brewer Bringing the Heat

Level 17 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Chris Brewer opened to 160,000 with Q8 from early position. Santhosh Suvarna and Ioannis Angelou-Konstas called with AJ and 98, respectively, from the blinds.

Brewer continued for 140,000 on the K10J flop, and only Suvarna called. The 3 turn kept Suvaran ahead with his pair of jacks, and he checked. Brewer continued the aggression and bet 600,000, which got Suvarna to fold the best hand.

Ren Lin

Ren Lin raised to 160,000 from under the gun and found a caller in Emil Bise in the hijack. Lin continued for 175,000 chips on the 648 flop and Bise made the call.

Lin sized up to 525,000 on the 9 turn and Bise promptly jammed all in for 1,835,000 chips. Several "Ay-yahs" and "Mama mias" later, Lin mucked his cards, shipping the pot Bise's way.

Afterward, Lin let his wrist be slapped by several players on the table as he was not happy with his betting behavior. "I can not control myself," he explained.

"I know," Daniel Dvoress, one of the wrist-slappers, replied compassionately.

Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel, with unscanned cards, limped in from the cutoff. Gab Yong Kim made it 260,000 with K10 from the button. The blinds got out of the way, and Kabrhel decided to reraise to 465,000 and was called.

On the Q96 flop, Kabrhel led out for 195,000 and was called to beef the pot up to 1,500,000. The 8 turn gave Kim a double gutter, but he decided to let it go after Kabrhel moved all in for 1,100,000.

It was then revealed that Kabrhel had AA.

Benitez Limps with Queens; Pot for Heath

Level 17 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Francisco Benitez limped in from the small blind and Emil Bise checked his option in the big blind.

The QJ6 flop checked through to the 5 turn. Benitez check-called for 150,000 before the 3 river checked through to showdown.

Benitez had a monster with QQ. Bise couldn't beat the set of queens and mucked.

The following hand, Daniel Dvoress opened to 160,000 from under the gun. Bise and Ben Heath called from the blinds.

Nobody took a stab on the 1072 flop, which prompted Heath to bet 190,000 on the 5 turn. Only Dvoress called.

Both players checked the A river. Dvoress mucked after Heath tabled his 108.
