Lin Slips Down Further

Level 24 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Ren Lin
Ren Lin

Santhosh Suvarna limped in with A9 from the button and Ren Lin checked his big blind with 97. Lin then led for 500,000 chips on the 52Q flop and Suvarna made a swift call.

Lin upped his sizing to 1,500,000 on the 8 turn, but Suvarna was not going anywhere with his nut flush draw and called again. The A river did not stop Lin from completing his triple barrel, as he forwarded 4,500,000 chips to the middle of the table.

Suvarna thought it over for a good while but eventually made the correct call with his top pair. Lin showed his bluff and the big pot was shipped Suvarna's way.

Suvarna Makes a Straight

Level 24 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Santhosh Suvarna limped in from the button with J9, and Ren Lin checked his Q3 in the big blind. Lin then check-called Suvarna's 500,000 bet on the 10K10 flop before both players checked the 8 turn.

The 7 river then completed the board and Lin checked to Suvarna again. The Indian player made a big bet of 1,800,000 chips with his straight and Lin let his queen-high go, granting another pot to his opponent.

Daniel Dvoress Eliminated in 3rd Place (€266,000)

Level 24 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Daniel Dvoress
Daniel Dvoress

Daniel Dvoress limped in from the small blind with J8 before Ren Lin raised 1,200,000 from the big blind with 65. Dvoress made the call and a flop of J76 found its way to the table.

Dvoress checked his top pair and Lin bet 700,000 chips with his bottom one. Dvoress called and the 9 hit the turn, which both players checked.

The 6 river brought Lin trips, but it was Dvoress who bet out for a hefty 2,800,000 chips. Lin rechecked his cards and took a moment before putting Dvoress at risk with a virtual all-in for 6,100,000 chips.

Dvoress looked visibly distraught with the situation he found himself in and spent the majority of his time bank extensions while deep in the tank.

After a few minutes, he came up with a call and saw the bad news when Lin tabled his hands. Dvoress' top pair was no good and he exited in third place, just missing out on his second heads up of the week.

Suvarna Finds Rockets

Level 23 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Santhosh Suvarna raised to 700,000 on the button with AA. Daniel Dvoress folded his small blind before Ren Lin called with A5 in the big blind.

Lin then check-called Suvarna's 500,000 continuation-bet on the J78 flop and checked again on the 3 turn. Suvarna sneakily checked behind his overpair and 4 river completed the board.

Suvarna put 1,700,000 chips in the pot after a third check from Lin, who threw in his time bank cards to think the situation over. Ultimately, though, he made the right fold and let his hand go.
