Newhof and Karoui Double Through Plum

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

In one hand, Carter Newhof shoved all in for 835,000 in the cutoff with {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Mikkel Plum called in the big blind with {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. An ace-high board meant Newhof would double up through Plum.

A couple of hands later, Moncef Karoui opened to 250,000 in early position and Plum shoved all in on the button. Karoui quickly called off his stack of 1,795,000 and held the preflop lead.

Karoui held {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} while Plum was in tough with {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. The board ran out {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and Karoui scored a huge double up into the chip lead.
