Krusch Wins a Small One and a Big One

Level 24 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Dennis Krusch opened to 50,000 in the hijack and Nicolae Modrea defended from the big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Modrea check-called a bet of 30,000 from Krusch.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and both players checked to the {10-Diamonds} on the river. Two more checks and Modrea announced king-high while Krusch tabled {10-Spades}{7-Spades} for a pair of tens.

On the next hand, Krusch raised to 50,000 again and Adrian Strobel three-bet to 130,000 in the cutoff. Krusch four-bet shoved all in for 435,000 and Strobel quickly called.

Krusch turned over {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} which was ahead of Strobel's {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. The board ran out {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Krusch held on for a big double up.
