Horkay Makes Quads to Double Up

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Tapsas Anastasios opened to 1,200 from under the gun and was called by Alexandru Budai on his left. Peter Horkay re-raised to 3,500 in middle position which picked up calls from Miximilian Frese in the big blind along with Anastasios and Budai.

All four players went to the flop of {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and the action checked around to the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. It checked to Horkay again and he tossed in a bet of 5,000. Frese check-raised all in which got Anastasios and Budai to quickly fold. Horkay shrugged his shoulders and stuck in the last of his 20,400 chips.

Frese flipped over {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a straight while Horkay showed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a set of tens. The river was the {10-Spades} which gave Horkay quad tens and scored a double up through Frese.
