Di Giacomo Stays Alive

Level 30 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The action folded to Manuel Fischer in the small blind who shoved all in. Claudio Di Giacomo called off his stack of 750,000 in the big blind and the cards were tabled.

Claudio Di Giacomo: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}
Manuel Fischer: {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Di Giacomo took the lead with a pair of nines. The {j-Clubs} on the turn and the {7-Diamonds} on the river was not enough for Fischer who passed over a double up.

Romain [Removed:338]: {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

[Removed:338] Left With Crumbs

Level 29 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Timo Kamphues opened to 200,000 from under the gun before Romain [Removed:338] (middle position) and Alessandro Pichierri (big blind) both moved all-in . Kamphues got out the way and the two players were off to a runout.

Alessandro Pichierri: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Romain [Removed:338]: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

[Removed:338]'s outs were reduced on the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and found no assistance on the {3-Spades} turn. The {3-Hearts} sealed the double up and left [Removed:338] with little behind. The dealer counted the stacks out again just to be sure and it was confirmed [Removed:338] had the slightly bigger stack. He'll be returning from the break with a single big blind.

Milos Petakovic raised to 250,000 on the button and Thomer Pidun called from the small blind. Claudio Di Giacomo moved all in from the big blind which prompted a quick call for from Petakovic for his stack of around 500,000. Pidun only had around 230,000 left but decided to fold.

Milos Petakovic: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Claudio Di Giacomo: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Petakovic was out front with his pocket tens and the flop of {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs} didn't change anything. However, the {6-Spades} on the turn gave Di Giacomo a set of sixes and Petakovic was unable to recoved on the {5-Clubs} river.
