Schlegel Doubles Up Through Gicovanu

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Marius Gicovanu opened from the early position for 320,000 and Andy Schlegel shoved from the small blind for 3,200,000.

Gicovanu snap-called him turning over quickly his {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} only to see his opponent's {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} for Schlegel to hit a set but it also gave some hope to Gicovanu, who now needed a jack for a straight.

However, the turn was the {a-Clubs} and the river the {k-Clubs}, ensuring Schlegel's double-up.
