Schulze Gets Away with One

Level 16 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

A couple of the chip leaders decided to play one of the largest pots of the tournament thus far with huge implications on the money bubble. Felix Schulze raised to 21,000 in the cutoff and Daan Mulders three-bet to 70,000 on the button which Schulze called.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Schulze checked to Mulders who bet 60,000. Schulze check-raised to 184,000 and Mulder called. The turn brought the {6-Clubs} and Schulze pushed out a bet of 475,000. Mulders still called to create a pot of over 1,500,000.

The {2-Hearts} completed the board and Schulze announced all in. It appeared as though Mulders was covered with a stack of around 1,470,000. He thought for over a minute before finally sending his cards to the muck. Schulze showed the {k-Diamonds} as he was awarded the pot.
