Dogan Rides a Rollercoaster Through a Double Up

Level 14 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The action folded to Jakub Oliva in the cutoff who made it 13,000 to go. Deniz Dogan three-bet to 55,000 in the small blind and Dragos Trofimov four-bet shoved all in from the big blind. Oliva quickly folded and Dogan instantly called off his stack of 310,000.

Deniz Dogan: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Dragos Trofimov: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Dogan was comfortably in the lead and looking for a double up until the flop of {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} hit the felt. Trofimov gave a fist pump after spiking a jack for a set. However, the {a-Diamonds} on the turn put Dogan back in the lead with a bigger set. The {7-Spades} completed the board and Dogan scored a double up to stay alive.
