Livingston's Shot at Another Deep Run Comes to an End
Alex Livingston was coming off his largest career tournament score when he made a deep run in the WSOP Main Event this summer in Las Vegas, ultimately finishing in third place. He was hoping to work some of that magic again at the WSOP Europe, but thanks to Anton Morgenstern, his tournament came to an end late on Day 2.
With around 75,000 chips in the middle already, the flop of was spread across the table. Livingston checked to Morgenstern who bet 35,000 and Livingston check-raised all in for 223,000.

His good feeling came true on the turn card as Morgenstern made a straight. Livingston wasn't drawing dead yet with two pair but the on the river spelled an end to his WSOP Europe Main Event.
