Think Long, Think Wrong

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A massive pot was brewing between Adrian Galipienso and Maria Lampropulos in the middle of the room. With around 200,000 in the middle and the board reading {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Galipienso led out for 100,000 in the small blind. Lampropulos called and the {4-Hearts} completed the board.

Galipienso shoved all in for 208,000 and Lampropulos went into the think-tank. Players started to stand up around the table to stretch their legs and the decision was creeping in on nearly eight minutes. As the level wound down, Lampropulos finally made the call.

Galipienso turned over {6-Spades}{5-Hearts} for a straight and Lampropulos was forced to show her {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for just ace-high after missing a flush draw. Galipienso raked in a monster pot to move towards the 800,000 chip mark.
