Burns Loses with Aces

Level 12 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Kahle Burns started Day 2 in the second place of the total chip counts but he is struggling during the day, having now just 90,000. In the latest hand, he lost an all in confrontation against Vadzim Lipauka, where Burns minraised preflop from middle position and Lipauka called from the cutoff.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Burns check-raised to 28,000 after Lipauka bet 10,000. Lipauka answered with a shove and Burns called quickly.

Kahle Burns: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Vadzim Lipauka: {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

A massive draw for Lipauka who was expecting for a club, a king or an eight to scoop the pot, but instead got the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and the {j-Spades} on the river. It still did the trick for him and Burns is left short.
