Jeffrey Cormier: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Ankit Ahuja: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Negreanu Loses His Last Chip

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Pot-Limit Omaha

Daniel Negreanu was sitting out for the biggest part of Day 2 in this event and for a good reason. He is deep in the Event #8: €25,500 Platinum High Roller No-Limit Hold'em, where in the moment of writing this post he had the fourth stack among the 23 players remaining in the field.

When he arrived at his table on this event, he saw just one blue chip in front of his seat, equal to 1,000. He informed the table: "Guys you have to know i am going to play aggresively now," bringing laughs among all the players.

In the first hand he played, he put this one chip in the middle from early position, Steffen Do limped from the button, Steven Heron completed from the small blind and Asi Moshe raised to 25,000 from the big blind.

Only Do called and the flop came {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Spades} with Do folding when Moshe bet 20,000.

Asi Moshe: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Daniel Negreanu: {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}

The {5-Diamonds} on the turn and the {k-Hearts} on the river sent Negreanu to the rail, but he managed to cash in an event he played only a couple of hands during Day 2.
