Foxen Out-Flops Eibinger

Level 9 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Matthias Eibinger opened to 32,000 from under the gun and was called by Anthony Zinno on the button. Alex Foxen three-bet to 152,000 in the big blind and only Eibinger called.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Foxen slid out a stack of 500,000, enough to cover Eibinger's remaining 345,000 chips. Eibinger went into the tank for over a minute before calling it off.

Foxen tabled {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for top pair while Eibinger showed {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. The {k-Clubs} on the turn and the {5-Clubs} on the river was not enough to save Eibinger who was eliminated.
