Hellmuth Getting Short

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised it up from under the gun and was called by Julian Selinger on the button. The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and both players checked to the {k-Diamonds} on the turn.

Hellmuth led out for 8,000 and Selinger called to see the {k-Hearts} on the river. Hellmuth checked this time and Selinger tossed in a bet of 11,000. Hellmuth looked him up and Selinger turned over {k-Spades}{q-Spades} to earn the pot.

"Ace-jack?" Nisad Muratovic questioned Hellmuth.

"Since I moved to this table, every time I lose a pot someone asks me what the fuck my cards were," Hellmuth mumbled.

Haim Sends One Home

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Menny Haim opened to 6,500 in middle position and the button shipped all in for 37,000. The blinds folded and Haim asked for a count before making the call.

Menny Haim: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Haim had his opponent pipped by one and the flop of {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} left it that way. The {7-Clubs} on the turn and the {3-Clubs} on the river was no able to help his opponent and Haim scooped the pot with a fist pump.

Anson Tsang opened to 5,000 in early position and was called by two players before Claus Carlsen shoved all in for 16,000 on the button. Tsang re-shoved all in which got himself heads-up with Carlsen.

Anson Tsang: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Claus Carlsen: {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
