Filatov Goes for Thin Value

Level 12 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Anatoly Filatov opened to 400,000 in the hijack and James Chen defended from the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Chen check-called a bet of 250,000 from Filatov.

The {q-Diamonds} landed on the turn and both players checked to the {q-Spades} on the river. Chen checked for the third time and Filatov dropped in a small bet of 400,000. Chen called and Filatov turned over {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}. Chen showed {k-Clubs}{3-Spades} for a bigger two pair and raked in the pot.
