Riess Doubles Through Badziakouski

Level 8 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

Mikita Badziakouski opened to 180,000 from the hijack and Matthias Eibinger called on the button. Ryan Riess three-bet to 850,000 from the big blind and Badziakouski four-bet to 2,000,000. Eibinger quickly folded and Riess used three of his time extensions before just making the call.

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} and Riess checked to Badziakouski who shoved all in. Riess called off his last 1,390,000 and the cards were tabled. Badziakouski showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} while Riess was out front with {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} and Riess held on through the {8-Hearts} on the river in order to score a huge double up.
