Split Decision for Mateos

Level 1 : 10,000/20,000, 10,000 ante

Rainer Kempe raised it up from the small blind and Adrian Mateos three-bet to 240,000 from the big blind. Kempe just called and the two players saw a flop of {q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. Kempe checked to Mateos who bet 170,000 and Kempe check-raised to 480,000. Mateos flicked his cards to the muck and Kempe pulled in the pot.

In the next hand, Kempe made it 50,000 to go on the button and was called by Mateos and Paul Phua in the blinds. The flop came {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades} and the action checked around to the {j-Spades} on the turn.

Mateos led out for 110,000 and Phua raised to 425,000. Kempe folded and Mateos called. The river was the {3-Diamonds} and both players tapped the table. Mateos turned over {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Phua conceded the pot.
