Heder Finds a Double Up Into the Lead

Level 36 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Mick Heder opened to 800,000 in the hijack with {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and was called by Marian Kubis with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Avraham Dayan with {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} in the blinds. The flop fell {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} and Dayan led out for 1,300,000 from the big blind. Heder just called and Kubis laid his hand down.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Dayan tossed in another bet of 2,500,000. Heder thought for a minute before shoving all in for 6,100,000. Dayan asked for a count before making the call.

Heder was in a great position to double up and the {8-Hearts} on the river confirmed it for him. With that pot, Heder has passed Dayan and taken over the chip lead.
