Chris Ferguson Eliminated in 23rd Place (€6,221)

Level 30 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Chris Ferguson
Chris Ferguson

Chris Ferguson opened to 225,000 in middle position and Dieter Becker went for broke by shoving all in for 2,250,000 in the small blind. Ferguson snap-called and the cards were rather surprising.

Dieter Becker: {k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}
Chris Ferguson: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Becker picked up a pair to stay alive. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn also gave Becker a flush draw. The {a-Diamonds} completed the board and despite Ferguson making a set of aces, Becker's flush earned him the pot.

Ferguson was down to just two big blinds after the hand and was eliminated just moments later.
