Kubis Rivers the Best

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On the feature table, Tomas Fara raised to 125,000 in middle position with {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Chris Ferguson called in the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Marian Kubis came along from the big blind with {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. The flop fell {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and the action checked around to the {10-Hearts} on the turn.

Ferguson led out for 175,000 after picking up a straight draw and Kubis called with his straight and flush draw. Fara got out of the way and the {7-Spades} hit the river. Ferguson checked this time and Kubis moved all in for 435,000 after making his straight. Ferguson couldn't call with ace-high and let his hand go.
