Piras Chipping Up Through Radicchi

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Andrea Radicchi started the action with a raise under the gun for 8,000 and Luca Piras called on the button followed by Helmut Hoflehner in the big blind.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and it checked to Radicchi who continued for 18,000. Only Piras called. On the {9-Hearts} turn, Radicchi check-called this time a bet worth 36,000 from Piras.

The river fell the {j-Hearts} and was checked. Radicchi showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a pair of tens but Piras tabled {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for a set of nines and took down the pot.
