Schulze Shows Big Bluff on the River

Level 21 : 0/0, 20,000 ante
Felix Schulze
Felix Schulze

Felix Schulze was on the button and raised to 250,000 after Federico Anselmi completed first to act and Kahle Burns from the cutoff. Anselmi was the only caller and they went to the {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop with more than half a million chips in the pot already.

Anselmi checked and Schulze bet 415,000 and Anselmi called after a couple of minutes in the tank.

The {q-Spades} came on the turn and both players checked.

The river was the {a-Spades} and Anselmi checked for the third time, while Schulze announced all in. Anselmi tanked for almost five minutes before releasing his hand. Schulze showed {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the missed straight draw and a successful bluff, with clear disappointment formed in Anselmi's face.
