Thorel Doubles Through Eibinger

Level 7 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

On a board reading {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs} and with about 300,000 in the middle, Matthias Eibinger checked from the small blind and Jean-Noel Thorel bet 105,000 from the big blind. Kahle Burns raised to 400,000 from the button and Eibinger responded by moving all in. Thorel called, putting at risk his last chips and Burns gave up his hand.

Matthias Eibinger: {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Jean-Noel Thorel: {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Eibinger had a pair of fives and a flush draw but Thorel had a straight. The {a-Spades} completed the board and Thorel raked in the pot.

Mikita Badziakouski raised to 75,000 from the hijack and Orpen Kisacikoglu three-bet to 210,000 on the button. Action folded back to Badziakouski who asked how much Kisacikoglu had behind before four-betting to 460,000. Kisacikoglu called.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, Badziakouski asked again how much Kisacikoglu had behind and then bet 200,000. Kisacikoglu shoved for the 1,075,000 he had behind. Badziakouski called.

Eibinger Needs to Reenter Again

Level 7 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Anatoly Filatov raised to 75,000 from the hijack and Matthias Eibinger shoved from the small blind. Jean-Noel Thorel four-bet to 600,000 in the big blind and Filatov quickly got out of their way.

Matthias Eibinger: {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Jean-Noel Thorel: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The flop came {3-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} to give Eibinger a glimmer of hope as he hit a pair of fives.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} which didn't help and neither did the {10-Spades} on the river as Thorel improved to a set of tens to send Eibinger back to reenter.
