Trips for Amedi

Level 6 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Netanel Amedi raised to 52,000 from the cutoff and was called by both Jean-Noel Thorel on the button and Christoph Vogelsang in the big blind.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, Vogelsang check-folded to the 121,000 continuation-bet of Amedi which Thorel called.

The turn was the {a-Clubs}, Amedi fired another bet over the line, this time for 227,000 and Thorel called.

The river completed the board with the {9-Hearts}, Amedi grabbed some chips and now bet 632,000. Thorel quickly confirmed the amount before making the call. Amedi tabled {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for trip nines and that was enough for Thorel to muck his hand.

On a flop reading {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}, Johannes Becker checked from the big blind along with Matthias Eibinger under the gun. Sam Grafton bet 85,000 from the hijack and Becker check-raised to 260,000. Eibinger three-bet to 1,300,000 and Grafton snap-folded but Becker thought for a long while then moved all in for about 1,900,000. Eibinger snap-called for less and the players' cards were revealed.

Matthias Eibinger: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Johannes Becker: {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Becker had an open-ended straight draw and a flush draw but Eibinger had an ace-high flush draw. The {6-Spades} turn and {6-Clubs} completed the board and Becker took down the pot with trip sixes, eliminating Eibinger from the tournament.

"Matthias, how are you doing?" asked Filatov while Eibinger was making his way to the exit.

"Great," answered Eibinger, ironically.
