Thorel Wins Two in a Row

Level 5 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

In the first hand, Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 45,000 from under the gun and was called by both Mikita Badziakouski and Matthias Eibinger in the blinds.

The flop came {10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, Badziakouski and Eibinger both checked quickly. Thorel continued with a bet of 80,000 which only Badziakouski called.

They both checked through the {k-Spades} on the turn to the {2-Spades} on the river. Badziakouski checked and Thorel fired a continuation-bet of 400,000 over the line. Badziakouski wasn't too happy and tanked, used a time-bank and then made the call. Thorel tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the turned two pair and that was enough for Badziakouski to muck his hand.

The hand after, Badziakouski raised to 40,000 on the button and commented: "Maybe this time!". Both Eibinger and Thorel called.

They all checked through the {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} to the {q-Spades} on the turn. Eibinger checked, Thorel bet 75,000, Badziakouski folded, Eibinger raised to 225,000 which Thorel called.

The river completed the board with the {4-Hearts}. Eibinger checked and Thorel bet 225,000.

"Please no flush!" Eibinger said before making the call. Thorel tabled {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the flush while Eibinger held {k-Spades}{q-Clubs} for trips.
