Death By Quads

Level 10 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

After a couple of preflop raises, Johannes Becker and Paul Phua got all of their chips in the middle. The two players were in a coin flip with Becker being the player at risk for 1,550,000.

Johannes Becker: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Paul Phua: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The flop of {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} was safe for Phua who was still out front with two pair. He even improved to a full house on the {6-Spades} turn card but it was a cheer from someone at the table "Six!" before the river came out. The {6-Diamonds} completed the board and with quads on the board, Becker's ace-high was good enough to earn him a double up.
