Thorel Doubles Through Kempe

Level 2 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Adrian Mateos raised to 25,000 from the hijack and Jean-Noel Thorel called from the small blind along with Rainer Kempe in the big blind.

Players saw a flop of {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} that was checked around to the {k-Clubs} turn. Thorel checked once more and Kempe bet 75,000. Mateos folded but Thorel check-raised to 200,000. Kempe called.

The {q-Spades} completed the board and Thorel bet 200,000. Kempe hit the tank for about a minute, then moved all in for about 1,100,000. Thorel snap-called for less. Kempe showed {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a bluff and Thorel tabled {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs} to win the pot with a flush.
