Vieira Runs Into Mateos

Level 11 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

It folded around to small blind Adrian Mateos and he completed his small blind. Joao Vieira sat in the big blind and he checked his option.

The flop came down {9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Mateos chose to lead out with a bet of 120,000. Vieira called and the {Q-Clubs} turn was dealt. Mateos went for the check this time and Vieira took over the betting lead with a bet of 220,000. Mateos called to see the {K-Clubs} river complete the board.

Mateos checked again and Vieira bet 660,000 this time. The dealer didn't have to count the bet because Mateos almost beat Vieira in the pot. Vieira opened up {Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for two pair, but Mateos had rivered the better two pair with {K-Spades}{3-Spades}.
