Thorel Clashes With Adams in Huge Pot

Level 7 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Andreas Eiler raised under the gun to 65,000 and Timothy Adams three-bet to 200,000 from the next seat. Jean-Noel Thorel called the three-bet from the cutoff and when it folded back to Eiler he made the call as well.

The flop was dealt {K-Spades}{10-Spades}{A-Spades} and Eiler and Adams checked to Thorel who bet 500,000. Eiler shook his head and threw his cards in the muck, but Adams called the bet.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and Adams checked to Thorel again. This time Thorel put in 1,000,000 and the action was on Adams again. Adams thought about it before moving all in for effectively 2,600,000. Thorel snap-called and when Adams opened up {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} it was Thorel who showed {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}.

Thorel had plenty of outs but the {8-Clubs} was not one of them. Adams scooped the big pot and Thorel was eliminated for the third time.
