Schillhabel Drops a Couple

Level 6 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Andreas Eiler raised to 45,000 in the hijack with {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Stefan Schillhabel defended from the big blind with {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Both players flopped a pair on the {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and Schillhabel began with a check. Eiler continued for 90,000 and Schillhabel called to see the {k-Hearts} on the turn. Schillhabel checked again and then folded when Eiler bet another 200,000.

In the next hand, Timothy Adams opened to 45,000 in the hijack with {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. Schillhabel called with {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} in the small blind and Jack Salter came along with {q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} in the big blind.

The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and the action checked to Adams who bet 50,000 with the best holding. Schillhabel called with his pocket pair and Salter mucked. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and Schillhabel checked again. Adams fired another 210,000 and Schillhabel quickly released his cards.
