Badziakouski Pushing Stacks

Level 19 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Winfred Yu raised to 350,000 from under the gun and was called by Jean-Noel Thorel in the small blind and Mikita Badziakouski in the big blind. The flop came {j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and the action checked to Yu who continued for 325,000. Thorel check-raised to 800,000 and Badziakouski flat-called while Yu folded.

The turn brought the {3-Clubs} and both players checked to the {4-Clubs} on the river. Thorel checked again and Badziakouski announced a bet of 2,800,000. He pushed stacks of chips forward to equal the bet and Thorel leaned back in his chair with his hand covering his face. He thought for a few seconds but then slid his cards to the muck, sending the pot to Badziakouski.
