Chatzopoulos Stays Alive with Big Slick

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Tamas Szunyoghy opened to 14,000 in early position and Sebastian Ulrich called in middle position. Apostolos Chatzopoulos was in the small blind and shipped all in for 96,000. Szunyoghy re-shipped all in for over 200,000 and Ulrich quickly folded.

Apostolos Chatzopoulos: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Tamas Szunyoghy: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Chatzopoulos was in a dominating lead and the flop of {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} changed nothing. The {j-Hearts} on the turn gave Szunyoghy a straight draw but the {8-Diamonds} on the river secured the double up for Chatzopoulos.
